Designed for multiplayer groups
A color that looks clear by itself can become confusing beside several similar markers. This checker evaluates the palette as a group, which is useful for teams, events, minigames, and map waypoints.
You can enter known Hex values directly or arrive from the Finder with a calculated player color already added.
A practical signal, not an accessibility certification
The comparison uses distance in the CIE Lab color space because it better approximates perceived color differences than raw RGB values. The threshold is a practical HUD-design aid rather than an official Minecraft rule.
Screen settings, resource packs, surrounding colors, vision differences, and marker size still affect the final experience. Always check important palettes in the game itself.
